Distribution and seasonal spread of zooplankton in Iraqi waters

A summary of zooplankton research done in Peruvian marine waters is presented. We first provide a brief overview the evolution studies off Peru before reviewing biodiversity, regional distribution, seasonal and interannual fluctuation, trophodynamics, secondary production, modeling are some these topics. evaluate on various meroplankton, macroplankton, mesoplankton, microplankton groups list species from both published unpublished sources. Three have been identified: · shelf group continental dominated by Acartia tonsa Centropages brachiatus; slope with siphonophores, bivalves, foraminifera, radiolaria An oceanic adiversity species. Where shelves thin, between 4-6°S 14-16°S, largest abundances biomasses were frequently seen. The diversity varies according to distance shore. As result advection, peaks larval trophic interactions, community succession, composition biomass also change significantly over short time intervals. Based detrimental consequences weak summer upwelling intensity or exceptionally high persistent winter abundance Peru, an intermediate hypothesis put forth. This concept states that window optimal environmental conditions for produced upwelling. Finally, we identify significant knowledge gaps demand future attention.
